  • Epicura is not responsible for delays caused by couriers, customs, incorrect address information provided by the customer, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
  • Risk of loss or damage to products passes to the customer upon delivery.

6. Refunds and Returns

Our refund policy applies to all purchases and forms part of these Terms. In summary:

  • Refunds are only accepted for products that arrive damaged or are found to be spoiled.
  • Refunds are not available for used or opened products.

7. Important Health and Usage Information

Your safety is important to us. Please read the following carefully before using Epicura products:

  • Certain Epicura products contain active ingredients (such as retinoids, AHAs, BHAs, and Glutathione) that may increase skin sensitivity to the sun.
  • Sunscreen (SPF 30 or higher) must be worn daily when using products containing active ingredients. Failure to do so may result in irritation, hyperpigmentation, or sun damage.
  • We recommend performing a patch test before first use of any new product.
  • If you experience redness, burning, itching, peeling, or any signs of irritation or skin damage, discontinue use immediately and consult a medical professional or dermatologist if symptoms persist.
  • Epicura products are intended for external use only and are not a substitute for professional medical or dermatological advice.
  • Epicura is not liable for adverse reactions resulting from misuse, failure to follow usage instructions, pre-existing skin conditions, allergies, or discontinued sunscreen use.

8. Intellectual Property

All content on the Epicura website including but not limited to logos, product names, images, graphics, text, and branding is the property of Epicura and is protected by South African and international intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use our content without our prior written consent.

When using our Services, you agree not to:

  • Use the website for any unlawful purpose
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or data
  • Post or transmit harmful, misleading, or infringing content
